16 Days volunteer & Trekking trip to nepal
We are pleased to extend an invitation for you to join Jay Tamang this spring on April 13, 2017 to experience this beautifully crafted journey full of enriched experiences as you help the underprivileged children of Nepal by volunteering at the newly rebuilt schools in a remote village. You will also be exploring Tamang culture heritage trails with Himalayan views, trekking tea-house to tea-house, and sightseeing World Heritage sites in Kathmandu. While staying in the village, participants will interact with children by teaching English in the classrooms. Jay has deep ties to the culture and this beautiful country. The group will be greeted and given a warm welcome into their village. After four days of engaging with the village children, Jay will then lead you into a most astounding spiritual journey of the Himalayas for the next seven days. A trekking experience of spectacular views you won’t soon forget as you feel your soul inspiring venture replenishing your mind and body like never before. Jay will share his vast knowledge and experience of these mystical places.
In addition, any participant that would like to give a direct donation to Nepal FREED (www.nepalfreed.org), there will be an option available to give a suggested amount of $300 to help cover the cost of student uniforms, books, and supplies.
Day 01: OCT 21st:
Upon arrival, our agent will pick up at international airport Kathmandu and transfer to hotel. Overnight at hotel in Kathmandu.
Day 02: OCT 22nd:
After breakfast we visit the World Heritage sites of Kathmandu, i.e. Patan Durbar Squire with the Museum of medial period and Golden temple. Visit Baudhanath the biggest Buddhist temple of 5th century, lunch and drive to Monkey temple (the oldest Buddhist stupa, Shpyambhunath temple ) from here we can see bird watching view of Kathmandu valley. Over night hotel in Kathmandu.
Day 3: OCT 23rd:
You will have a drive from Kathmandu to Bhalche, which takes about seven hours by private jeep. You will head north out of Kathmandu, driving through scenic foothills and ridgeline vistas to Bhalche village passing through Trishuli Bazaar , the district head quater of Nuwakot distric. While passing along the road at the bank of the Trishuli River, farm-terraces. Due to remote area of Nepal, in Bhalche has no hotel accommodations. From the day arrival in Bhalche to departure, you will be sleeping in tent or local house.
From Day 04: OCT 24th to Day 06 Oct 26th. Volunteer at the school and explore the village of Bhalche
From Day 07: OCT 27th
After breakfast in Bhalche village , drive by Jeep to Shyabrubeshi about 6 hours. Lunch and explore the Shyabrubeshi town, mostly Tibetan influential lifestyle of Tamang people and it is commercial center for surrounding villagers. Dinner and overnight in hotel in Shyabrubeshi.
Day 08: OCT 28th to Day 14, Nov 2nd: Langtang Trekking
Day 14: NOV 3rd
Syabru Bensi to Kathmandu. A scenic drive back to Kathmandu by public bus/jeep will be undergone, which takes about 6 hrs. Overnight at hotel, breakfast and lunch include
Day 15: NOV 4th
Rest day in Kathmandu. It is free day for your personal shopping and to explore the city on your own.
Day 16: NOV 5th
Departure from Kathmandu for your home country.

-Nepal entry visa: you can obtain a visa easily upon your arrival at Tribhuwan International Airport in Kathmandu.
(A multiple-entry tourist visa good for 30 days can be obtained by paying US $40.00 or equivalent foreign currency.
Similarly, multiple-entry tourist visas for 90 days can be obtained by paying US $100.00 Please bring 2 copies of passport-size photos.)

Important travel Insurance:
It is important that you are fully insured for your trip. This must include Cancellation Insurance. Many of our trips visit remote areas where the nearest medical facility might be some distance away. In the event that you or your loved ones become ill, injured or incapacitated this insurance will cover all these possible circumstances.
