It's heartwarming to see my adopted community supporting the community I grew up in.

An ice cream social fundraiser for schools in Nepal was held on June 4, 2010, at Park School in Mill Valley, CA. My children attend this school, and it was touching to see their friends and the other parents join together to help provide education to the children of my home village. Because of their support, Nepal FREED went on to build a library dedicated to Park School for their generosity.
