in 2011, i had the privilege of seeing my hard work pay off, and my dreams become a reality for the children of kahule and bhalche.

• The Lower Bhalche School, funded by the Himalayan Fair and supported by our donors all over the world was finally built and ready to be put to use. 

• The Park Library, funded by parents and friends from Park School in Mill Valley, California, was built and dedicated.

• In Kahule, Upper Bhalche, and Lower Bhalche, the community benefitted from the distribution of books, money, sports equipment, and computers - materials that seem fundamental to Western students, but are a rarity in Nepal.
